I might actually catch a game in real time for a change.
Might
Maybe
What happened to Ovi?
-
OV is a scratch, lower body and day to day at this point. He did seem a bit slow to me in Phoenix

Pretty cool when you see a team finish chances. Bummer it's not ours.
-
Oh well, hope they pull something together. I'll check it later on dvr. They're just not good enough to stay up all night watching.
-
Not a good start, but the Caps are capable of making a game of it.
-
WTF
I tuned in To my recording and NBCSN has the wizards postgame and then tunes into the Caps game already in progress? Not that I missed anything except Vegas two goals and half the 1st period
I miss Home Team Sports

there goes the shutout

stinker of a game
-
When they're flat, they're flat! Even with a couple 4 goal output wins, in the last 7 games since everyone's return, they're still only averaging like 2.4 G a game.
That'll take care of a playoff spot in a hurry if it keeps up. Especially when the D sucks too.
-
They brought back the tired veterans, messed the lines all up, killed all the momentum they'd built over that good stretch and now can't figure out why they can only beat bottom feeders. I'd say the playoffs are very much in doubt again.
-
Oh you "the sky is falling" types.
Playoffs....no problem. Just wait for the annual total shit show let down this team suffers every year after the all star break. THEN, you can start to worry - when we actually fall about 10pts out of the race.
Caps currently clinging to top wild card spot and 4th place in the Metro.
Shittsburgh trails by two points but they do have THREE games in hand. They play FLA tomorrow and then the Caps Thursday, so we will see by Thursday if we feel the tell-tale testicle tracks tickle across our backs as the Hens leap frog us in the standings.
For sure my adjective use here will emit a response from the resident Redneck :raspberry:
We've been spoiled with literally years of pretty damn good regular season team play resulting in almost certain playoff appearances on an annual basis. Sadly, I think the lean years may be upon us. I'm not giving up hope, but we are just not a really strong team and it's only going to get worse in the next few years me thinks.
Go Caps

well that was an unwanted visual

Somebody report that hillbilly. He's lost his marble. :snicker:
