Alexeyev has played well.  Mobile too so that helps.  Although I thought Mac has played pretty well, and he definitely brings some MUCH NEEDED grit.

I was looking and just realized Fever is only 24.  He's been a steady for what..2 years now.  That's pretty good for a Dman to play full time at 22-23

Who's sitting to make room for Miro?

Hoping that Alexeyev stays as our 6th defenseman, both for his experience and because I think he SHOULD now be in the top 6.

He and TVR should probably be the 3rd pair.

yeah 27 played himself into that spot  Dylan and Lucas should be gone.  Although I would have liked to see Dylan v. Rempe

looks like we will have our D back!!

Not that it will matter, but ....then there is a 5 day break from game 4 to game 5

from one extreme to the other.. Sunday at 3pm then Sunday at 8pm. I swear, the nhl scheduling team is just a bunch of monkeys throwing darts at a calendar.

Unfortunately, I don't like our chances in a physical game and in the fight department.  Yes, we have Willy and probably will have McIlrath - who apparently has fought Rempe before, but overall the Rags are a more physical team.

The Panarin hit was definitely over the line, but those kind of hits always start the arguments of what was hit first and what the intent was.....  The Rags fans are convinced it was "totally clean" and the Caps fans think there should be a suspension.  I actually wish they would get more hitting back in the game and just let these marginal ones go.  I don't want guys to take head shots, but we are trending toward the IceCapades, even in the playoffs.

Huh.   I'm trying to figure out how to do a poll thingamy...........

For who anybody thinks might be our next leader. ???

Willy pretty much fucked himself.

The only other candidate, in my eyes, is Chucky.

I'm starting to have serious questions about Carbs........

Well when you say leader...do you mean Captain?  Tom Wilson is a leader on this team, as is JC.  I expect he or John Carlson will next wear the C, but Johnny might be done the same time as Ovi.
Lindy..no...he might not even be here after next year.. He is a UFA after next season.  And you can't have a goalie as team captain even if you wanted to (which you wouldn't)
If you just mean leader and not Captain, then again...Wilson and Carlson are both leaders on and off the ice.  Wilson is pretty active in the community and with multiple charities as well.. Sure some of that is image building and marketing, but he does seem a genuinely decent fellow.
I don't understand what you mean when you say Wilson F'd himself?
Wilson and Strome are committed long term to this team.  I expect Wilson will be the next team Captain, but Ovie has two more years (at least) so who knows what other veterans this team will acquire in the next two full seasons.

As far as Carbs..I think he has done an excellent job with the assets at his disposal.  Most of the young guys have taken a step forward this year and that's what this team needed.  You can't blame the coach when your old guys just get older....and older...and slower.
