I watched the game late....and fell asleep. Looking at the highlights and the score, it appears we stomped them, but looking at the game summary stats...maybe not?
SOG: wash 22 / NJ 41 I realize up 3 goals you kind of let off in the third (we had 4 SOG in 3rd), but allowing 41 SOG anytime is not good.
I did see Eller on the ice a lot. He had two assists and was a +4. Who is this guy? He has actually looked better this year.
Connor Sheary leads the team with 4 goals. Love his effort, no matter where you put him.
Dowder with three goals on 6 shots this season - 50% shooting percentage - gonna change his nickname to sniper. :lol:
Only three Caps on without a point this season: Brown, Snively, McMichael. (hey, it's hard to score from the press box)
Goals Caps have allowed this year per game: 5, 3, 1, 4, 5, 3, 3. That's 3.43 GPG - not really a recipe for long term success.
A win is a win. I'll take it.
