Guess we didn't look too bad. Little slow as Rich said. Got the short end on the checks for sure. Hate PP's that get split by intermission. If they didn't have Panarin Im not sure they'd of had any real scoring chances. Need to keep him occupied.

Had to zip thru the first period recording. Didn’t seem as chippy as I thought it would be. Then again, the last time there was the all line brawl [except for the d-man who couldn’t runaway from Chara any faster than he did]. Did I miss the chipiness?

Man oh Man - LaPierre must have REALLY impressed the organization during training camp.
He's only 19. He played 23 games in juniors last year. Meanwhile, McMichael spent all last season at Hershey and was a leading scorer for them. But it's Lapierre who gets the call this evening.
McMichael was our #1 pick at #25 in 2019. LaPierre was our #1 pick at #22 in 2020.

Tampa is in town Saturday for a 7:00 game. Home town boys get the broadcast. One of those times it sucks to be in florida

Ha. Believe it or not, at that pace Ovie would finish the season exactly tied with Gretzky with 894. Of course it won’t happen, but what a statistical anomaly.

Pretty good game. Looked a little shaky the first 10 min, but by mid of 2nd pd it was all Caps.
Damn, didn't realize Ovi's record breaker was a shortie :)
Love Lappy's goal. Can't say I remember the last time I saw a guy skate the bench with that big a smile. Good on him.
Fun game. SO much better to watch with fans in the stands. Rags were wholly unimpressive after about the first 5-10 minutes.
