confirmed, Dowd out Eller in
-
Ovie's about due for a goal, aint he?
And that Mantha guy....talk about due.
I have to say Backy has looked better than I expected out of him. I wasn't expected greatness, but I also wasn't really expecting NHL caliber Backstrom any more either. I am surprised and happy for him - Hopefully his smarts and skills stay ahead of his aging body for a while longer.
Willy looked a lot more like Willy last game.
Would be nice if we could get that Kuzy guy to play up to his potential too.
and FFS everyone - SHOOT THE PUCK!!!!
Go Caps.
-
I saw something earlier that said tonight is MoJo’s 800th game, can’t find it now
Aubé-Kubel is skating in warmups, Mantha is not. Bit of a shake up from Lavi, and it looks ugly.
-
Bahaa, Lavi has Kuzy with the 4th line! :snicker:
Oh look, it's "pride night" in DC. Wish I'd of know sooner. Too bad ya can't just be you w/o shoving it down everyone's throat..

Evenin' Lil!
Bummer we can't punch one in. Wild gonna shake that 2 day rest/rust off here at some point.
-
just a hunch, but I’d bet if the jackass zebras would’ve called that penalty there wouldn’t have been a fight

-
Meh. Very, very disappointing.
Night night all.
-
that sucked
-
Pfft.. Hockey. See you guys Thursday.
-
seeing-eye pucks and big screens in front, but them corners and sides of the net is wide open. Can't really fault the goalie, but you'd like the body to be in position to get at least one of those....on occasion.
Not putting this L on Lindy, but overall, I give the edge to Kuemper in I think he gives us a better chance to win games. His size is a factor and he's not a awesome save kind of guy (usually), but he usually keeps us in games.
Lindy I think just plays small in net. Not that he didn't absolutely play well when Kuemper was out for a long stretch.

I know the sample size is small but DAMN 19 looks great.....
He has looked much better than I ever expected out of him again. I was at the Philthy game and saw him up close. It looked like he labored up the ice one shift and I was like uh-oh....but then next shift he was skating hard and playing physical. He really seems not to have lost a step....except maybe the age. He never had speed to burn to begin with, but he seems to be at least on a compete level. His puck moving and management skills are so good, and his passing seems to be as good as ever.
Nice to see for all his effort.
-
Yea, in tight/small/short spaces Nicky looks prime! Bummer he can't cover 150-200' of ice though. But hopefully they can compensate. Same deal with Oshie.
