the Caps looked much better last night in OT than previously. It only takes a half a mistake in OT to blow it.

3-3 OT looks about like the PP. Just not much danger coming from us. At least they had possession last night, still only took 1 decent chance to beat VV. Our goalies get beat "clean" quite a bit.

Man we suck at the 3 on 3 so far this year.  Winning a faceoff in OT would help.  3v3 is always a crap shoot - Too bad we keep ending up the ones crapped on.


Put McMichael, Sprong and Sheary out there.  Fuck it.  At least it would go fast one way or the other.  If they manage to get the puck, it'd be tough to keep up with them.  Or throw big Willy out there.  We can't seem to win with with Carly out there on D and face it...he aint out there as a D man anyway.  Kuzy ought to be better at the OT with all that ice.  Not sure Ovi has the wheels for it



OR if you want to get crazy - start the OT with the goalie pulled and go 4 on 3  :wackysmile:  Problem is you need to win the draw for sure.


1 point is better than none, but FFS win an OT game for once.  Didn't we use to be really good at winning OT?


Do they count +/- in 3v3 OT?

Ovie aint fast enough, Carlson aint fast enough, Wilson aint fast enough, etc., etc.. I'd rather see Jensen, Fever or Orlov out before Carlson. Ovie can't get away from anyone to do his thing, so he's also about useless in OT. Kutezie skates around with the puck too much, with nothing dangerous happening besides wasting time, forcing a bad pass or eventually just turning it over. But he at least has the wheels to get a chance every now and then. Once Nicky gets back, he's probably also too slow. Oshi will help. Is what it is I guess. Got 1 point at least.
