Da plane!  Da Plane!

I see McMichael is in.  Good for him.  Hope he earns it.  I thought he played well with Oshie/Sheary in preseason.

Samsonov...Hmmmm.  I thought Vitek had played well enough to keep the net.  I know they intend to use both guys, but still.  (Not that I have it in for Sammy)

Doubt I contribute much tonight from the rink...eyes are too damn old to be seeing that little phone screen.  (and they might be just a tad bit blurrier than normal)  Although not sure I want the wife driving the Yukon after the game in a garage OR in DC for that matter.  She can barely manage her little Honda out in the boonies where there's no traffic.

Anyone have any recommendations for a quickish dinner before the game near the rink?  I know there's tons of stuff right there, but I don't venture there much.

Masks are required in Capital One Arena at all times except when eating or drinking.  Guess who's going to have to keep busy NOT wearing a mask  :uh-huh:

GO CAPS.  Hope it's a good one.

you post updates at intermissions and commercial breaks, ya amateur  :raspberry:

also, best food in the arena is on level two, the restaurant or the side places, it's also going to be easiest unless you get down there 2 hours early

if weren't a school night, Id hang around after the game to let traffic die down and get chinese at that place on H and 6th opposite corner of the arena, its good stuff, made by actual mandarin speaking people

Prolly not getting there till six so.... looks like it's $15 beers and $12 pretzels

Level 2 is where we at anyway.  Section 201, I think (er....maybe 203 - my son has the tickets).  On the Caps shooting end twice.

I think MacKinnon has Covid so he's out.

I get to see that Bearakowski guy though.
