yep, Sgarbossa was ineligible last night because he tested positive for the wuhan


Back in July the CDC recommended everyone stop using the PCR test because of false positives and its inability to differentiate between the wuhan and regular flu. As best as I can determine, most places are still using the PCR test.

This covid pause is about the dumbest thing I've heard of.  Who do they think they are protecting?  The fans?  Hardly.  The players are 20-30 something pros in prime physical condition.  The danger to them from covid is about the same as it is for children, IOW, about zero.  Oh, and there are about 8 cases of Omicron in the US and no deaths.  Many more people are going to die from cancer, heart disease, overdoses, gun shots and car accidents than are going to die from covid this year but the only thing people are hysterical about is covid.  This has to end.
