Honestly, there's no "guarantee" you come back 100% from ACL reconstruction.. Im sure he'll be back, but will he still be "Tom Wilson" effective? Never really followed any NHL players who've had it, but in the NFL very few are the same afterward. And even the ones that end up the same, it can take over a season (after they return) to get to that point. Gotta pray he's an Adrian Peterson type.. :-\
But yea, whatever they do to fill the void will no doubt fuck the team over in some form or fashion. On top of not having any Nick Backstroms in the pipeline, they also have no Tom Wilsons..
