Yea, I heard they had the day off. Though Lavi or someone said they'd be evaluating Dowd today? Least that's what I think I read? Oh well.. They be on the ice tomorrow either way. Hope for the best I suppose! :cross:

the way Dowd went down it looks like a hamstring, which means he's going to out for a while. Still don't know if that's related to his injury from a couple games ago.
I have yet to see anything definite about Vtec, bringing up Fucale may be a precaution

Sucks for Dowd. Hammy is tough. Not like the Caps needed any more injuries, but better now than end of May. Losing Vitek is going hurt bad. Hope it's just a minor maintenance issue and not a real injury.
Caps have a brutal schedule the next 10 games...8/10 games are against at the very least - solid teams, and 7/10 are on the road. Play the Panthers twice and Carolina once to end November for the last 3 of this 10 game stretch.
Really need to beat Columbus and Shitsburgh the next two cause after that...it get tough (except for maybe Montreal and Seattle)
