Sammy should have moved it and Shulz should not have turned away. Sammy should have gotten back to net quicker. Just bad play all around.
But like Mick said....Dowd cost them the game in the third...
Or their old age did. Boston outplayed them all night. Kudos to Sammy otherwise the game should have ended 6-2
I was going to say earlier that at least we have a competitive goal tender playing for a change
Sammy looked really sharp (which is amazing)...right up until that stupidity that ended the game
Boston’s not really that good and we are hanging on. We can’t clear the d zone to save our lives. We can’t complete with almost any other playoff teams the way we have played so far.
The fourth line is the only line that has looked good in three games
Hathy and Dowd has more goals than Ovi and Backy? :huh:

Maybe we are focusing too much on the OT goal. Yes it was a shitty play but there were a lot of other bad plays made in the game.
Our best players gotta start playing like our best players.
Ovi and Backstrom have to be better. Kuzy is a total joke right now. Wilson and Mantha have been ok I guess. Carlson has been a no show.

I'm not sure what changes we can make to improve this team.
Maybe we shouldn't make any changes. It's not like we are getting blown out out.

I don't see what all the angst is about.
The regular season said that the playoff teams from this Division were virtually identical quality. This playoff between #2 and #3 has produced three overtime games thus far. Seems to me as though this series is simply validating what looks to be obvious.
