My cell reception isn't good enough. I have Verizon and I honestly have researched every provider (including Tmobile recently) for our specific area and I'm just in a bad spot. Literally just a dead spot with 5g reception 1 mile away. We are really not THAT far out there.
And my TV doesn't like my iPhone. I have tried it multiple times (and had my teenagers try it) and it they don't like each other for some reason.
We do hook the laptop to the TV with HDMI and use the cellular hotspot for the laptop and get that to work, but even with "unlimited" data, there is a limit to hotspot streaming of 10GB.
and the cell signal is not great anyway (3 bars of LTE 4G)

I worked at a place that had bad cell reception, we had the cell company come out and walk around with their little meters, they ended up putting a booster antenna on the side of the building. Should work for a home.

I got no problem with what ever makes you happy. But in today's climate the minority wants extra rights, not equal rights.
