Caps played very well except the pp. passing and skating looking better. 2nd period kind of lulled.
Sammy looked great and not just cause of shutout.
Spronger looking better and better but then so is Sheary.
Problem is where do you put Spronger when Eller returns
Even if you sit Panik....where does spronger go?
He fits well on 1st line RW but what about Oshie?
Spronger isn’t really 4th line type of player. Well he can be but he’s not that effective there.
Shears and Spronger both seem to work for the puck. And both guys have a bit of scoring touch.
Our fourth line works like mad but Nobody on that line can score...even in breakaway. Hags has had some glorious opportunities and just can’t get the puck past the goalie. I’m not knocking them cause they work really hard and cycle and churn and create chances but geez one them dudes ought to score out of dumb luck every now and then (blind squirrel and all)
So really my question is where would YOU put Spronger when Eller returns
You making the third line Spronger Eller Sheary? And sitting Panik?
I might leave Spronger with Ovie and put Oshie with backy and Willy and then put Vranna with Eller and Sheary
But then isn’t Vranna Lw and Sheary LW? And Oshie and Willy both RW? Or does it not matter?

Not that I am demoting Oshie but that gives 3rd line some more balance and hustle and wings in their proper sides.
I’m tempted to sit Vranna and play Panik but then we’d miss out on a couple posts being rung on breakaways every game or so.
Vranna with the puck on his stick is pretty exciting but the rest of his game....I’m not totally down on him but he looks adrift way too often if he’s not racing up the ice with the puck.
Who would be harder to play against for the Rags? Panik or Vranna (or Sheary or Spronger)
Good problems to have. Same goes for the D...those poor guys can’t even get in a game
