my guess is he was threatened, the league probably told him if he appeals they would drag their feet until all 7 games are served anyway, just like last time

Right. I guess they could actually give him more games if they wanted to? Too bad the less pushback for shit like this, the more normal it becomes. They just make shit up and suspend who they want.
