I think this excuse about the Caps being the oldest team in the league is horsecrap. That's counting Chara at 43, Lundqvist will be 39 next week and Anderson is 39. Thats two guys that aren't playing, and one that still contributes quite a bit with almost 20 minutes a game. The next oldest guy is OV at 35.

We are still a fairly old team not including those 3 you mentioned. The majority of our regulars are 30 or older.
