Carlson isn't a problem 3 on 3. He is probably our best dman for 3 on 3. Not the best skater but he is best at moving the puck and has a very good shot.
I don't think this team is really built for 3 on 3. Backstrom and Oshie are decent 2 way players but don't have the speed for 3 on 3. Kuzy and Vrana have the skill and speed but are brutal defensively and are lazy.
Ovi isn't a great 3 on 3 guy but he is the best goalscorer in the league. He finds ways to score. He needs to be on the ice but we didn't see him.
The only forward we have that has decent speed and can play both ends of the ice is Wilson and we didn't see him either.

Looking back on this game, the Pens could have scored at least 10 goals if they had finished some of their really good scoring chances. Vitek played pretty well, but the Pens just couldn't finish.
Also, first game I can remember in a while that Willy pretty much was not a factor. Half way through the game I was wondering if he was playing - very strange.
