Eller has the best face off percentage on the team at like 56%
DC called out Sheary and Panik early on and they were both involved in the scoring.
Panik works really hard, but man he does have hands of stone when it comes to scoring a goal. He did make a nice (or lucky) pass to Eller though. He also made that pass to Sheary for G1. Plus Panik does forecheck and hit guys and plays physical. I was disappointed they didn't move him in the offseason, but he's okay as a 3rd/4th line guy and he's got good size and plays hard. (DC just hates anyone from Europe) ;)

Eller is our top faceoff guy this season at 53.8 percent. I'm not convinced that makes him better.
Backstrom is really struggling on faceoffs this season. He does take a lot in the offensive zone which means he would quite often be facing off against the oppositions best face off guy.
I think Eller gets easier matchup in most games.
