I agree wholeheartedly that the rules set out are pretty dumb. They don't seem to make any sense at all.
I can only surmise that they are there to protect other people and not the players themselves.
Catching the virus might not mean much to strong and healthy athletes, who will probably just shrug it off after a few days. It's all the other people they pass it on to, who maybe have to go home and look after elderly, or more vulnerable people that will suffer more.
Covid is basically a strain of flu, but it is a far more virulent and contagious strain.
What bothers me is the arrogance and complete lack off respect that these guys have shown to everybody else, from the top brass, to their own team mates who are obeying the rules, to the staff looking after the teams, to the hotel staff and all their families.
They
KNOW the rules yet they seem to somehow think they are above them, or that the rules don't apply to them.
Bring this guy back
and get some
fucking discipline back in this team.
