Works for me.  Seems a bit on the cheap on the Ovie side, but maybe he doesn't care.  At this point, what's another $2-3 mil when you have 100?
Plus, maybe he's just trying to keep the band together.  I think I'd stay with a team/group/town I spent my whole career in, where my family lives, etc.
But then, maybe in a real hockey town he could be a super-star  :huh:


Unless he is really hungry for another cup and he thinks he can get a legit shot somewhere else....but how do you know year to year who is actually gonna have a shot.

Same here.  Hopefully he is thinking the money saved on his contract can go to a decent top 4 DMan that'll get him back to the SC finals.
