I was wondering the same.  I would have started him in the third.  Caps had no life, and game is meaningless and already lost IMO.  Maybe would've sparked the boys or at least given them something to care about.
Even if it's just for some Holtby rest.  But then I guess Holtby won't really need any playoff rest (since there will only be 4 Caps playoff games)
