Well Hell, at this point, just call the damn thing already. It's gonna be time for training camp for 2020/2021 before they ever start up the last season again.
And.... in MY season, the Caps are up 2-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals over Vegas. Vegas won game one by lulling the Caps (and EVERY hockey fan) to sleep with this BS long, drawn out fantasy on ice pregame show. I mean Jesus....play the fucking game already.
Caps took game two and IMO pretty well flat out dominated Vegas all game 3. I don't want to get me hope up, but the Caps look to be the WAY better team. They are dominating in nearly every aspect of the game, and the physical play is Awesome. Willy looks like he' going to flat out kill someone with a hit pretty soon. Ovi looks like he can finally taste the Cup and is playing possessed. Kuzy is like the best skater and play maker on the ice and fucking Eller...YES...ELLER looks like a damn 2nd line center. He has made a huge impact in nearly every game - filling in for Backy and actually making plays. He looks like a real 2c right now and about the best damn bargain 3C this team has ever seen. And Holtby is just fucking cool cucumber back there. Not overplaying, not scrambling...just good positioning and making it look easy. Although he did make one bonehead play and flat out handed Vegas their only goal on the night.
I'm not counting my chickens yet, but my hopes are definitely up. This team is firing on all cylinders. Hell even Smith Pelly and Stepho look good right now.

I heard the news last night, haven't bothered to look yet. I think it's stupid. In order to finish this season they must push back next season by what appears to be at least two months, so the 2020-21 season might not even start in 2020.
