Caps need a win tonight. If they aren't careful, they could end up in 4th and playing Pit in the 1st round (not that it matters much)
Islanders play NJ, NJ, Boston to finish the season, although they did lose to Buffalo in shootout last night and lost to Buffalo the last game.
Boston lost in OT as well...to NJ
I'm not expecting a whole lot from the Caps come playoff time. Unless we get a miracle goalie happenstance, we are toast. We aren't good enough to win regularly without a great goalie performance.

you could make a highlight real of plays like this from Wilson, Crosby and Marchand. Willy’s video would be maybe 4 or 5 plays. Crosby and Marchands videos would be well over a half a hour long. But somehow Willy is the bad guy, and that narrative is enforced by the nhl. The league made up new rules just for Wilson so they could suspend him 7 games this year. Marchand got a polite warning from the league about licking everyone.
Gosts is getting a hearing today for a play from last night too, final play of the game...
the only issue I see with Gost is the whistle had blown, Gost hardly touched the guy, and I couldn’t help but notice Cynde’s head slam at about the halfway mark wasn’t in the highlights
