I've noticed that "Canadacapsman" hasn't been around lately.  Not surprised, tbh.
I don't have a problem with somebody having a different point of view, or opinion, but the way he addressed and spoke to people on here was pretty bad.
He's the "Art" .   (Ice Road Truckers reference.)     8)

For those of you who have not seen "IRT", just insert the word dickhead.   ;)

I haven't watched in a few years, but IRT was filmed in Alaska and Canada, just depended on which seasons it was, and they didn't mix footage between the two. Alaska doesn't have a pro sports team because of travel times, it's a lot further away than you think. Anchorage to L.A. is over 4 hours, Anchorage to NYC, where a majority of the league is within a three hour drive, is over 7 hours. That's longer than NYC to London. And money, I don't think the population of Anchorage could support a team. The current smallest city to have an NHL team has almost twice the population of the entire state of Alaska. The newest NHL city, Seattle, has a higher population than the state of Alaska.
