In regards to this strain of flu, kovid-19, it did originate in the city where China does a majority of its biological weapons work. I read a few things as well that speculate this is an engineered virus that got lose. Intentionally or unintentionally is up for debate. It's primary victim seems to be the elderly,mand we all know how these socialist/communist regimes care about there subjects. I wouldn't be surprised if China wanted to thin the herd to lessen the strain on the government.
I know a guy, a former marine, served during Gulf 1. Was asking him about what he did while in, nothing special, he reuped twice, he said he was stationed at Ft Detrick once. My eyes got big, and I asked him if the rumors about that place are true. He says you don't know the half of it, of course he can't/won't tell me. The only thing he would say, they've buried entire buildings there to contain what's in them, and the way he said it and repeated it when I said bullshit left no doubt he wasn't lying.
The other thing almost no one is willing to talk about, is how Vozrozhdeniya Island became easy for anyone to pick through after the soviet collapse and draining of the Ariel sea. The only hope there is anything left behind had time to die off before people with bad intentions were able to sift through the island.

Are you suggesting that this virus was engineered and/or developed on purpose and released to quell our elderly and/or fraiil population?
Our planet IS over-populated, for sure and the elderly and infirm DO cost us a lot, certainly financially.
But.... ON PURPOSE?
That would just be Nazi-esque pure EVIL.
