I don't think it even matters if we make the playoffs. We can't beat anyone.

Teams take on the personality of their coach. Trotz was tough-minded and didn't take bullshit. Reirdon is an intellectual who "thinks" hockey and the team doesn't play with an edge. Other than Wilson and Dillon who on this team plays with an edge -- not stupid like Eller and Carlson tonight -- but a real edge. Ovi can but he needs to preserve. We are a weak-minded group, epitomized by players like Vrana, Kuzy and Backstrom, none of whom will hit anything. I forgot Hathaway who plays with an edge. Oshie at times but he's been shit for a while now.
Bottom line -- this season is too late to salvage. We were great in the first 1/2 when NOBODY PLAYS SUPERHARD and nobody hits. We have sucked since teams have ratcheted it up and I think we are back to the old days in terms of how we play.
Sad but true. Going nowhere this season.
