They haven't played well at all. Even the goal we got was a fluke.
We aren't spending anytime in the offensive zone because of poor puck management. We blame our d core but it's our forwards that are the bigger issue.
Too many times our forwards won't get the puck deep. Instead they try to get cute and end up turning the puck over. Some of our favorite Caps are actually the worst.

There is a big difference. This team was playing like shit long before Dillon got here. Our problem is more related to our forwards than our d core.

Don't think so. We've been crap for a while now. At least Dillon iis playing FOR us, as opposed to Shathispants who was just a waste of space and salary.

He sounds like a fool. The closer checking and goalie play alone would have drastically reduced Gretzky's scoring. He'd have had about 400-500 maybe. Ovie, OTOH, WOULD have had 1000+ if he played in the 80's.
