Agreed. But he still sucks. Deer in the headlights in terms of changing anything other than the top 2 lines.

It's not the line shuffling that bothers me, it's the lack of correcting the repeated mistakes. Our players are making the same mistakes constantly. Over and over again. The passing/giveaways, the telegramed stretch passes, the awfullness on face=offs. Stupid penalties, lack of discipline and jjust pure basic laziness.
This is what annoys me about Reirdon right now.
Has he lost the room?

has Reirdon ever really had the locker room?? Has the talent been able to compensate for the last 1 1/2 seasons and can’t hide it anymore? Last year I wasn’t ready to blame the coach, but this year I am.

I haven't thought Wilson has played well. He ALWAYS plays hard which is good, but his skill game has sucked of late. If I had to pick one guy who's our best right now it would be Alexander Semin.

Best all around player doesn't translate to skill. Wilson does everything for this team. He is a physical presence, will fight if needed, he is very good on the forehead, not afraid to dig the puck out in the corners, also not afraid to go to the dirty areas in front of the net, he has decent speed, he is also a good back checker. He plays on the pk and pp. He manages the puck fairly well, doesn't try to get too cute. Instead of trying a low percentage toe drag he will chip and chase. He plays within his limits. You say he is lacking the skill. Well he has enough skill to have scored 19 goals so far this season. Wilson is by far our best all around forward.
And since we are talking about skill. Kuzy is our most skilled player but maybe the laziest and he makes a lot of very bad mistakes. Not sure if it's selfishness or a low hockey IQ. I like some parts of his game but he can be a bit of a flake.
