Another wasted night watching a team that didn't give a shit until the last 2 minutes.  You'd have thought they'd play hard to impress Dillon but no such luck.  Holts was great all night but whiffed the game winner after Ovi made a stupid "I want 700" move.  This team is as dumb as a bag of rocks and I see no way they don't get hammered by Pittsburgh on Sunday and no way they make the playoffs given their incredible downward trends.  That's 5 of 6 losses both overall and at home.  As I've said all night, "WE SUCK."

Just so many half-assed efforts.  Drive-by stick checks and I don't even think we had one true "hit" all night.   Glad I didn't by a ticket to this one.

Hell, they’ve dropped the “urgent” playtime now, to less than half a period! And it wasn’t even THAT urgent looking to me!


It’s a shame that Holtz played great in regulation,  actually giving us a chance to stay in the game on an otherwise commonly lackluster night again, only to let in one he knows he should have had!
 Not that he got any help from Orlov, defending right in front of the shooter!!


 I did like our new defenseman!  I saw him handling some major business, just in front of the crease,  rendering his opponent, ineffective, as the puck passed in front of him for what would’ve been an excellent SOG!
 I only saw him have to put on the gas once or twice tonight, but he also looked fairly speedy!  Time will tell, we’ll see!

Dillon routinely was paired with Burns and Karlsson, both of which are about 10x the Dman as our “Johnny Norris”.  It’ll be interesting to see “Johnny Norris” can up his game to come close to either them while Dillon is here.

Sure, their whole team has been a mess, much like us of late. 


Regardless, neither of them has a player that’s been in the top 3 of goals all year, and are still better all around Dman than “Johnny Norris”.
