it was nice to go to bed in a good mood after a Caps game, but they need to bolster the defense if they are serious about the post season. The first move, since it's the most affordable, should be bringing Fehervary back up full time to get him more experience before April. They should nut check Johnny Norris and put him on the 10 day to make cap room

If only they could bottle up the last 25 minutes.. From the 5 on 3 at the end of the 2nd till the end they were lights out! 1st period was spoiled garbage, 2nd period was "better" but Holtby made at least half a dozen 10 beller's to keep them at 2-1.. 3rd period was pretty stout.  Would of lost the bank if someone wanted to bet me they'd come from 2- zip to beat the Avs in regulation..


It looked to me like they were trying to use the walls between the blue lines, instead of the middle? Early on they looked stiff, like they weren't sure what they were doing. Later on they got it together.. Dirty deflection goals instead of pretty snipes is always a good thing, if you can get it. Hopefully they can build on it.
