Thought the caps were the better team the first half game. 2nd pp goal for rags with immediate third goal slowed them down a bit.
Some bad bounces for Caps but Rags played pretty well.
Caps are definitely tough to play against.
Too bad Willy didn’t get a really good lick on Pepe
Wtf stupid announcer “not sure what the extra penalty was for”
Did you watch the play dickhead?  Pepe was wrapped around Willies leg like a Python squeezing its prey.

Fucking Milberry trying to make Wilson look like he was gooning up the rags.
Did they watch the same game I did?

PUCKNRUSH:
This loss was not as tough to accept. Caps gave a pretty good effort for the most part.

Rangers were amped to play the #1 ranked team, which just so happened to be a rival, with some good, fairly recent, history!

The Rangers did need to call upon a great effort, to complete the win.  But as we all know by now, that was hardly the whole story.

Add in the Caps having to deal with a quick, pot-luck type, of a multiple call up situation, which affects line chemistry, of course, hence, affecting timing, causing much of the missed passing, and some ill-timed penalty’s!

It does seem, after the fact, that the Caps may have been overdue for one of their “bad puck luck”, nights!  We’re usually treated to a few of these type games, during the season, but this one may have been a few games worth of bad puck luck!  So many post hits, in one night!!

Finally, Rangers took advantage of their power-play opportunities, as well!

Sum it all up, and it’s a respectable, regular season loss for us!
Where a number of unusual circumstances, all came together and worked against us!
Game was much closer than the score, no doubt!

Mickstix:
One of those nights. Need some bodies back and a little puck luck. Played better then the score implied, imo.
