One thing: we've won half our face-offs tonight against Philly, which is a pretty good showing because though we've improved we're still a middle-of-the-pack team and Philly is #2 in face-off % (they were #1 last year.)
Leipy may have scored, but it sure hasn't gotten him a ton of ice time as a reward.

If anyone here thinks we are playing well I'd like to have some of what your smoking. That was one of the worst periods we've played all year. No connection of passes and total lack of interest at most points. First line has been largely nonexistent. Panik had a good first period for a change but was poor in the second and making me wonder about that big contract. Holts has been very good or we'd be down.
