Too Bad. Hope he gets it turned around. He had some big moments for the Caps.

My Dad is in China this week. He goes there a lot. He is a very well traveled man and enjoys food from all over the world with no issues. He said every time he goes to China he finds the food to be so awful that he can't eat. We chat daily and he tells funny stories about pretending to eat at dinner. He's with people that wine and dine him trying to make his stay as great as they can, so it's hard for him to get away and find something he can eat. He said there is always sauce on stuff that makes it revolting and that they can even screw up fish, duck, and chicken.

It was mostly a rhetoric question, but I thought Caps will give a pressure and try to bail out Samsonov. It's good to see he wasn't broken, normally after 5 goals with that score, goalie will be replaced. It wasn't likely, but Kuzy started it with a second before period's ending.

In Shanghai you can find a good food, including western food. Personally I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, it is kind of complicated for me. I'm feeling sorry for DSP, working in China or Asia is not easy. I spent 2 years at South Korea working for LG Electronics. People were friendly, but you still feel being alien there.

The team and Samsonov weren't as sharp as they could have been early on, which considering they're on a back to back is probably to be expected.
Gotta give the guys and Sammy credit for sticking in it. Letting up all those goals sucked but Sammy kept his head in the game and made some other big saves, and our guys fought back tooth and nail and stole a win. Really great effort in the end. Not a pretty game but it was fucking fun to watch at the end.

WOW.
I watched only the 1st period and fell asleep doing it (started it after the Nats game at midnight)
Rewatched the video game summary. The Caps did look lethargic for most of 1st and second, but the Nucks did get some down right lucky bounces. Caps definitely standing too still, but the one off Ziggy's stick was a lucky bounce right to the guy in front, at least one of the other goals come from a good bounce also.
Sammy did look like total doo-doo in net though. at least two of those he should have stopped. AT LEAST TWO.
Caps get five goals in regulation and neither Ovi nor Mr. Norris Candidate got a single point. (didn't both guys have pretty good point scoring streaks going?) Although big Johnny Q deserved AT LEAST two assists on Canucks' goals. He looked down right tired, but then most of the team did.
Kuzy actually forechecked, hit a guy off the puck and then went to the net - and scored because of it. WOW. I have to say Kuzy is quietly looking better this year. His skating looks better and he is controlling the flow.....like the good Kuzy. Hopefully the good Kuzy stays with us all year and doesn't lose focus or interest.
Glad to see the boys put in some effort at the end. Caps scored four goals in a span of less than 8 minutes. Crazy.
Caps scored 4x more in 8 minutes than the Nats did in 4 hours. :(
GO CAPS/NATS (almost like a CatNap)
