If Turner tries to avoid the tag, which was in the way of his right to the base, he'd get called out for leaving the base path. I'd love to see 1: the Nationals bitch about the call in the post game, and 2: an explanation from MLB on wtf Turner was supposed to do?

So weird that we witnessed a supremely bad call in both Caps and Nats game. Two of the most bizarre calls I've seen in either sport.
They reviewed and reversed an unreviewable call. As weird as the Tom Wilson double minor for a non-penalty which drew no blood. Actually, weirder!
