NBC finally realized he sucked and no one liked him

Nothing to do with inappropriate behaviour to children or animals, or Cindy, perhaps?
So just basically his biased and bigoted behaviour? Wow! Harsh. :-| Shocking, in fact.

You know I appreciate all the help I can possibly get!

Always loved to help. This year I am in the same boat as you. I tossed out my cable company and saved big $$$. I was going to pay for NHL.TV, but found out they black out all local games. So I could watch ALL NHL games EXCEPT for the Capitals if I bought their service. Just when you thought the NHL could not be any more stupid. These livestreams are finicky and unreliable as hell. I missed first 5 game minutes of pretty much every game so far. Even the working ones drop out every few minutes and sometimes when they return sends you back to before the cutout, even when you go "LIVE". We need a good livestream option. Sad that the only option is to get a free unreliable connection.

Report: Pierre McGuire removed from NBC’s No. 1 NHL team in favor of Brian Boucher
As per a report from The Athletic's Rick Carpiniello, Pierre McGuire will still reportedly call games for NBC, but not on the No. 1 team. NBC's statement didn't confirm or deny the report, but said that Brian Boucher will again work with the top team of Mike "Doc" Emrick and Eddie Olczyk on opening night.
There’s a report out there from Rick Carpiniello (The Athletic’s New York Rangers reporter) that would represent a massive change in the U.S. hockey broadcasting landscape, with Pierre McGuire off NBC’s top NHL broadcasting team and Brian Boucher (also a long-running NBC analyst) replacing him. McGuire will still reportedly be calling other games for NBC, though.
So for old times sake:
:pierre:
