TJ Oshie undergoes surgery on fractured collarbone
Headline photo: @Capitals
The Washington Capitals announced on Sunday that TJ Oshie has successfully undergone a surgical procedure on his fractured right clavicle, or collarbone.
His timeline for return is still indefinite, though this means we have likely seen the last of Oshie for the remainder of the playoffs as previously reported.
Oshie was injured in Game Four after being boarded by Carolina’s Warren Foegele. He tweeted his thanks for support from the team and fans, stating that he was in good hands with training staff and doctors and “especially mama bear at home with her [two] little helpers.”
Fans chanted Oshie’s name during Game Five and he responded over Twitter.
Oshie is the second major injury to the Capitals roster as the team continues its quest to defend its title. Michal Kempny was also ruled out for four to six months following surgery on his torn hamstring.
ArJunaZ:
I suppose that bringing in an ECHL goalie (35-Parker Milner) to be our third goalie disproves any idea that either Holtby or Copley might be hurt. Samsonov now playing in the Calder Cup for Hershey. Good to know our talent runs deep and those Hershey guys are still staying in playoff form in case we need someone.

Let’s GO CAPS!
Hope, Caps can wrap up this series tonight :uh-huh:

In addition, I’m waiting same performance from DSP in this game!
