Well . . .as superstitions go, looks Lady & I will now need to go to an Os and then go for tacos and drink a bottle of tequila during every game of the playoffs from here on out . . . Poor us 🤣
They looked great last night, but. . . we ain’t won a Cup yet. Yeah we crushed em, but this the only time we blew em out. . . And these guys are not going to “cower in fear at our talent”, or “stop and enjoy their on-ice view of our immaculate and divine skill” like it’s EA NHL 19. Expect quite the opposite, they’re gonna be plumb pissed.
We’ve enjoyed game 5, but now we’re on to Game 6. . .

I'm very happy about tonight's win, definitely wasn't expecting it. That said I'm not so quick to call TR our lord and savior. He's still an ass clown in my opinion and until he gets us past Carolina and then the Islanders (by out coaching his old boss), I won't have much faith in his coaching ability. I want consistent results, not the occasional "wow" win.

I agree with this sentiment. Yeah we won. Cool. It was a solid game, a statement game. But let's not get too hyped up and get all aboard the back to back train because we haven't accomplished anything yet. This team isn't championship material until it wins again. And TR isn't a great coach until he gets us a 2nd Cup. So let's not go around throwing parties and patting each other on the back and hi fiving everyone. Gimme a Cup, then we'll talk.

Looks like Oshies out for the year. If there is not retaliation and deliberate and systematic targeting of Flowererr or what ever his name is, the message will clear to any other team that they can do the same.
The Code will never go away.
