It’s the inconsistency of it that really sucks. Sometimes it’s a game, sometimes it’s 10, sometimes it’s none.
This is why I hate the NHL Supplemental Discipline sideshow. If they through Womams League rule and the Eurotrash back over the pond so it’s a MANS game again, this shit wouldn’t happen, If it did, suspensions for hits would be because their jaw was wired shut.

Sucks that there is no supplemental. If they REALLY want to change it, then IF a player is injured on what is deemed "an illegal hit", then there should be a mandatory suspension. Leave the random wheel of justice out of it.
I mean, its a rough sport and guys are going to suffer injury, but IF it is from a truly illegal hit and not incidental contact, then make it an automatic suspension when guys are actually injured (with a legit injury)
Caps have enough "lack of effort" issues without losing Oshie.
I just don't think the Caps have it this year. I expected (and still hope) they get by Carolina, but not enough clicking and falling into place for a real run IMO.
Kuzy needed to bury that breakaway in the third.
Oh wait, forgot the "hot goalie" excuse we are going to have to swallow for this round.

Watching Oshie leave, I'd say either shoulder or collarbone. Wrist is possible but I didn't see him jam it on the replay. Doesn't really matter, he's done. Caps may be done by Monday if they don't get some damn urgency.
