About how the Caps had the potential, but not the heart to go back to back.  Coaching largely to blame too. Some of the top players should have been benched this year for sitting on their asses.  They are paid too much to be lazy and use tiredness as an excuse.  This game  is another in which there is little battle in these guys.

As I've said many times, I can take losing, but I can't stand not trying. I'd rather have a long summer off than having to watch a half-hearted effort. I have many other things I'd rather do any day of the week, rain or shine.

Linesmen are fucking blind. I watched back that offside call and there s no way in hell we were offside.  Kuzy was two feet into the zone when Oshie entered. That was I think the worst offside call I've ever seen. No wonder they gave the linesman dirty looks.

I think they've kinda warped me.. 1-1 type muck em' up games I feel like we're playing poorly? Looking back, they played a pretty solid game. We were getting out forchecked for sure, but not really giving up high danger scoring chances. PP sucking makes them look worse then they are, when they don't do anything with it. Anywhoooo, another W!!

Much better compete level in the third. More battle, less turnovers, sharp passing, and it nets 3 goals.

Defense is strong in spite of the loss of Kempny and the shuffle at the top.  They have been hot and cold between the blue lines and if they can be consistent there they could do well against all our top opponents.
