This team looks totally hopeless, lifeless and confused. Now we can see how Trotz' system made the most out of the talent here, which is sorely lacking on the backend as we see night after night. Going cheap ass with him was a horrible mistake and it's obvious Rierden is in over his head. Had to laugh my ass off hearing they want to trade for a forward. They need 2-3 new defensemen. If Bowey, Orlov and Niskanen disappeared, nobody would know the difference. Carlson is also a nightmare but, of course, we're stuck with him.
