We are making WAY too many mistakes on defense to win against good teams (or bad ones -- see Chicago). AS break is coming at the right time. Perhaps a week to 10 days of rest will be what this team needs to recharge its battery and make a run down the stretch. After watching last season as frustrated as I am I'm not going to give up hope on this team. Too much talent and rather than making a big trade at the deadline, perhaps a few lobotomies are in order? If Kuzy came back from the break and had lost the stupid dangle, for example...

Time to hit the hooch. Guess I'll stick for the 3rd since they don't play again for 10 days.. Fuck it, nothing we can do about it, hope they snap out of it, catch a break, get lucky, whatever it takes. Maybe they can steal a point. :angel:

I know it's too much to ask for Hockey Gods, since you were kind enough to bestow the Cup upon us last season, but if you could see it in your otherworldly hearts to allow us to score 2 while holding the Leafs scoreless in the 3rd, and thereby anoint us the victors tonight so we can go into the break with something positive, I will forever be in your debt.
