Yea, I do. How many other players rotated off at the end of the game. You think Rierden “made” Ovie stay out there? Players come off all the time when their tired.
But hey, maybe you;re right. Maybe I missed Ovie trying to come off the ice and Rierden yelling at him to stay out there and make sure he’s well away from the net as time runs out and Kane is left unguarded.

He had just skated the puck down the left wing and flung the puck toward the net (that was the one place he was selfish as he should have dumped it into the corner) and he was getting back on D where he covers the right point -- all the way on the opposite side of the ice from the bench. He was supposed to skate over for a change while SJ was skating it up the ice? And which defensive scheme for the Caps has Ovie ever covering the crease down low? Where were the fucking defensemen whose job it is to cover the crease? And none of that happens if fucking Holtby catches the goddamn puck.
