Rierdon's system is the same as Trotz's system. No difference whatsoever. The difference is in film, preparation, discipline, and buy in by the players. When things go badly they need a coach they believe in to be on the bench. They don't have that.

it is a very vanilla version of Trotzs “keep Monumental happy” system, (not the one that won in the playoffs and that shut us out the other night), the difference is the other sets, adjustments and in game descisions before it gets to the players to execute,fuck up, or ignore.
They have relied on “talent” and “won a Cup” all year, now what the Caps have counted on has been solved and exploited, this is for the Coach to fix on the whiteboard first
