Well, I guess we get to find out if the hand-groomed replacement for Trotz has anything up top. Last year we looked just like this in January and Trotz got them together and we know where that went. Now you need to see if Rierden can do anything to get this team to play like a team. It's the same cast of characters so we know they have what it takes. They just aren't playing worth a lick right now and their confidence is sucking. Time for Ovi to take Kuzy aside and tell him he needs to step up and earn the paycheck. And Backstrom has to start playing solid, strong hockey. He gets points but he looks crappy from where I sit. And our third line center, supposedly our depth being the key to why we won last year, Eller has to play better than he has played. It's all there for them but they have to want it a lot more than they do right now.

5 GOALS, what an entertaining game in The New NHL!!! The Caps are trying hard though, like they always do. Even though the goals were by the other team, they’re just hot, but they’re fun to watch. But who cares we have A Cup, so we can die happy even if it’s another 40yrs before the next!!!

And the league has neutered Willy so the only guy on the team who will fight can't take the risk so we just keep getting it jammed up our ass one puck at a time and we don't fucking do anything! Kick somebody's goddamn ass!
