A stinker is fine.  Lack of effort in the first 40 isn't.

I thought they had figured it out last year that when teams stack the neutral zone they need to dump, chase and hit and wear the other team down.  Trying to carry in is playing into their hands.  You can't play "beautiful hockey" when the other team is playing defensive hockey.
