ETA
It's as if we all have our laces untied laying across and under our blades. Nothing but tripping, fumbling, and turning the puck over on a silver platter. And yet somehow we are still tied.

The obvious answer is the same way we lost to the “bottom tier” Blues!
Just an overall appearance of being DISINTERESTED in playing an NHL hockey game!! (Oops, I meant showing up to do your job!! Oh, that’s right l, I almost forgot! They are PAID, professional hockey players)!!
I think it was Mick that mentioned the next few games are going to be a real test for Rierden! (And yes I wasted my HOPSLAM buzz, on this Sunday game, too !!!
Certainly no “chicken little” sky is falling stuff here, yet, because they were playin with some emerging real chemistry, just a few weeks back. But we need to see some correction PRONTO!!
Right now there IS NO chemistry!!
C’mon Boys get your asses in gear!!

all these apps do not make life easier and I openly protest them

Hey Alta!
I can’t stand the new MY TEAMS app.
They sent me a survey, and after giving them the very predictable, “Rush Old School Rant”, (LOL), I told them I wanted the old app back! (Don’t worry, I absolutely know it’s going to fall prey to some young, lazy, millennial fuck, who will hit “delete”, and grumble under his breath, “fuck that old dude”!
😂🤣😂. Nothing like today’s customer service !!!!😂🤣😂

Was at the game, was a snooker for the first two periods but glad they came back, both slashing penalties for slashing on ovie and oshie were weak. Beat the game in Detroit last year though that we won 1-0. With all the stars we have on this team, Wilson is our MVP. Look at our record with him in the lineup, we're a different team with him and no one can match our first lines physicality when he's up there with ovie and Kuzy. From the stands felt like the second line was weak other than vrana's speed. Plain and simple, this team is deep through all 4 lines and the people on these boards that complain about the lack of physicality we bring, don't watch the rest of the league because every analyst from Canada that talks about our team envies that element and not many top teams in the league compare to us other than maybe the Winnipeg jets. We played an average game if that tonight and still found a way to win. No reason we can't repeat at cup champs if we stay healthy in the post season.

I'd love to repeat as Cup champs but I don't know how we're going to do it when we play like this...
It just seemed like there was no effort, no compete factor. No one wants to be physical, no one wants to battle for pucks. And to make matters worse, there was no chemistry and no flow in my eyes. Passes are always well behind or well in front of the guy, or to the other team altogether. A couple mishaps in particular that pissed me off was 1) on the PP we had the puck in our zone trying to push into neutral, Kuzy is skating back into our zone and runs into the breakout pass intended for another guy and actually deflects it back deeper into our zone; 2) Orpik acting like the puck was a hot potato at our blue line and letting the Detroit player waltz in; and 3) the countless times we fail to enter the zone because some idiot wants to get on the highlight reels with some fancy skating and stickhandling through multiple defenders. There are a million other screw ups but those just come to mind right now.
Don't get me wrong, I feel like we have a great team on paper. And I'm not asking for physicality as in making 100 bone shattering open ice hits a game and being a bunch of goons in general. Just some more compete factor, some more cohesion.

Were a fairly big team. Last 1/4 of the season I look for them to ramp up the physicality and get ready for the dance.. Can't be dancing before mid Feb.. You'll stub a toe and twist an ankle for sure.. :raspberry:
