Not enough compete factor and passing sucks ass too. It's like they don't use their eyes before passing and the puck goes god knows where (or to the other team).

Easy, they’re coming off a win streak where the offense was hot enough to cover up these lapses and deficiencies.

More than any team in any sport, these Caps teams go from being great to utter garbage after a win streak is over.  This is the cost of an all offense/offense first system and ideology.

You've been drinking DC's "kool-aid" again.
AND...
I bet one of that handful of games was the game Dylan was out   :snicker:  [/size] (just stirring the pot....with your leg that I'm pulling)

I watched the game late and fell asleep during.

two words for last night's game:

Just watched replay highlights.  I thought Wilson looked tired in the fight - don't know if Bertuzzo waited till he was at the end of the shift?  Anyway, I thought Wilson still won it.

Regarding Connelly, I don't know what to think about him this year.  He gets a ton of really good scoring chances so I guess he deserves credit for getting in the right place at the right time, but he doesn't convert on as many as he should.  He does get some sloppy rebound goals every now and then and he has scored 9 goals, so I don't know what I'm complaining about, especially for a 4th liner!

Mickstix:
IIRC, Wilson had just taken a puck to the arm minutes before the fight.. Don't know if it hampered his effort or not. He also got jumped from behind (apparently) and never had a chance to square off. Still held his own!
