LOL.
I actually feel real good about where the caps are right now, and I’m good with the direction they’re going!
The good thing is that ya always know where DC is coming from, with the Caps!
I’m nowhere near the “glass half empty” mode, that he comes from, concerning the Capitals!
But, at least, he’s damn consistent! LOL.

Hell, nobody thought the Stanley was possible last year, either, at the beginning of the playoffs!
Just a good reason to kill a vodka shot, with his naysayer ass, when we do it again, THIS YEAR!!😁😁

To think this, DCorps is fine, even when healthy, is optimistic to the point fantasy.

There physical weakness, lack of hockey IQ, and greater lack of testosterone has been known and teams will continue to be exploited going forward.

The evidence of this can be seen by our PATHETIC PK, Orlov attempting to fight and leaving the ice a bloody mess, countess turnovers, blown assignments, odd man rushes, and Nissaken getting crushed into the boards the other night.

Without addressing this glaring and exploitable weakness, there gonna need a hell of a lot more thoughts a prayers, and help from the  proverbial hockey gods than they had last year.

alta:
this team needs another Dman that is willing to take some of the load from Willy. Every team that has more than one guy that can fight well has fewer liberties taken against it, like the hit on Nisky and Holts always getting run over

Rush,
I just want to say that this nobody  ;) very much thought we could win cup last year.  I was very strangely calm and optimistic unlike previous years where I was frustrated.  Beginning in Late Jan - Early Feb I was feeling very comfortable with our chances. We clearly had the talent for a few years and then last season we seemed to have the resolve to play the right way (all 60 minutes and a solid defense) that we were previously missing, and so I saw us going all the way. I also predicted we could/would dominate the Golden Knights quite early in the playoffs.

We could offer Boston a "Get Away  From Wilson Free Card" to prevent him destroying Marchand  :uh-huh: in 13 days (Jan 10) for Marchand's brutal assault in Game 1 on Eller.  Remember, because he did not approve of Eller's celebration after his goal, which was nothing beyond cruising by the Caps bench for high fives as is done every single time a goal is scored these days.

Even though I didnt think Eller's celebration was meant to taunt the Bruins I still didnt like the celebration. Come on. It was the seventh goal in a 7-0 blowout. I understand why the Bruins took offense. I'd still love to see Wilson destroy Marchand but for not for retribution for Eller. Just because he is Marchand.
