ArJunaZ:
Lines have been updated and are correct.
I also did a cool effect on the photo of Ovie holding up the cup. It's at the top of the OP.

--- Quote from: 4 Caps on Saturday December 08, 2018, 12:32:48 PM Eastern ---According to Isabelle, Bowey and Sigenthaler will be the third pairing tonight. Djoos will be the scratch so Macco is getting his wish. I will be interested to see how they do. Djoos and Sigenthaller were on for both of the Arizona’s goals.
--- End quote ---
I'm not sure how ready Seigenthaler is but I think Bowey is ready to be an everyday player. I think Djoos is only in the lineup because the other guys just arent ready yet.
In a couple years I think our dcore will be a bit different. Orpik will be gone, good chance Niskanen is gone too. We have a lot of depth on the left side and I think Djoos will be passed on the depth chart by Seigenthaler, Johanson and Alexeyev. And unless we add someone on the right side I could see Bowey and Hobbs as regulars.
The problem with Djoos is his lack of size and strength. Even if he does gain weight I'm not sure if it will help him much. His game probably wouldnt change.
Beaglefan2:
Agree on Djoos. I had high hopes for him that he might get a little bigger and that his skill set would overcome the size issue. Unfortunately, I think he has regressed this year. He is a good skater, but not great. His decision-making has been shaky and other teams clearly take advantage of him in the corners and in front of the net.
ArJunaZ:
Update: My brother fell while jogging this morning and cracked 3 ribs and punctured a lung, so he's not coming until tomorrow morning. 8-0
Hospital just released him. Now I get to bless all of you with my presence tonight. :uh-huh:
ArJunaZ:
Capitals also may be down another forward against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Washington recalled Riley Barber from the American Hockey League on Friday because “more than one guy” is under the weather and considered questionable, Coach Todd Reirden said. Other than Wilson, who hasn’t skated since his bare head hit the ice in Las Vegas, the Capitals had a full attendance at Saturday’s morning skate.“That’s just protecting ourselves,” Reirden said of Barber’s recall. “Hopefully everyone will continue to be healthy as we get closer to the game tonight. But if not, Riley’s played really well and deserves the opportunity.”
