in house that looked like a dive by the Devils, and we only got one quick replay of it

I mean it's certainly interference. That is undoubted, regardless of the guy backing into him and Wilson trying to dodge, Wilson clearly hits him hard in the shoulder trying to get out of the way. It's not a major though. Wilson shouldn't of went for that line as his own man and the player he accidentally hit were filling it, he tried to squeak by and interfered with the player without the puck. The player just got hit awkwardly though, nothing predatory about any of that. Just an accident that gets turned into a major because of injury and Tom Wilson lame reputation garbage shit.
ArJunaZ:
It did look a bit like he kind of swerved to make less contact, but he hit the guy in the shoulder from the back and BARELY missed his head. It was a retarded decision to even make contact there. I don't think it was a 5 minute major worthy penalty, maybe a 2 minute. Still stupid considering where he just came from. The league will not judge it with clear eyes.

It’s bullshit if Wilson gets anything from this, especially when you compare it to what Malkin did to Oshie.

Oh he will. He'll get at least 5 games. The refs ensured that. All match penalties get automatic suspension review. Because Wilson is not only a repeat offender, but also was only just recently returning from a long suspension where he had a careless head shot lead to injury, that was in fact predatory, nobody not even us can deny that. The hit he was last suspended for was a bad hockey hit and doesn't belong in the game.
So now all the NHL needs to do is make sure it meets the "technicalities" of the rule standards. Because Wilson is boned, and now a repeat offender, it's less "let's hope Wilson stays clean" and more an inevitability. In 2 seasons time, Tom Wilson will no longer be playing in the NHL. Mark my words. I think he has the compete and hustle to don't get me wrong, but now that he has that predatory hit in the pre-season on his ledger, it isn't going to take much in the ways of cheap or even cheap "lite" plays by Wilson for them to throw the book at him due to history.
