Brett Seney on Wilson's hit on him: "It was more kind of back of my shoulder. I don't know if he was intending to do it or what. I haven't had the chance to look at it yet."

Seney knew there was no head contact but he sold it.

4 Caps:
Just got back from the game and I have to say the Caps were very fortunate to win that game.  Holtby  stole that game.  The second period was one of the worse periods the Caps have played this season.
As for the hit by Wilson, at most it was a 2 minute interference penaly.  No way should he be suspended.  There was no contact to the head so the match penalty should be rescinded.  Iknow I know we are talking about the DOPS so who knows what those clowns will come up with but I will be shocked if Wilson is suspended.

Semey's a young kid - 20, 22 years old?  He's a forward.  Why the hell is he skating backwards blindly, when the puck is on our boards?

It doesn't happen much anymore because right now Willy is the only one in the league under a microscope. Even Marchand isn't scrutinized this much. Point is, other players will intentionally put themselves in compromising positions around Willy in an effort to get the call and get Willy off the ice, and for an extended period of time. Guys that intend to make a career of this game learn early on how to fool the zebras. It is the reason the league put in the diving rule, which is rarely called.

I'm watching On The Fly-NHL channel. The talking head that is calling Willys hit dirty is using camera angles that aren't even remotely close to what Willy would have seen as the play happened.

Yeah.  That's what I mean.  My Alzheimer's kicked in    and I can't remember what side of the blue line he was on.If he was in the middle 3rd, there's no way he should have been going backwards.
